Chilling Like the Missionary Gangsters We Are: September 28, 2012

28 September 2012 (Letter written 12 September, posted 13 September, received 28 September)
The fam,

Sorry for only sending 3 photos but not a ton happened this week and I’m not taking as many photos from out of my window anymore.  Ha ha!!  Hopefully once I’m in the field I can email photos to you but for now I hope you like the extra little letters!  J

So just now me and Elder S. just got soap at the grocery store which normally is not a letter-worthy occasion, but grocery stores here are so cool!  There are so many weird products and brands I’ve never seen before.  And I got a pink soap case!  It’s super legit!!  It is so much fun.

Just walking around here in Brazil!  The sidewalks are crazy!  If you look up too long you will step off a small cliff or step in dog poop and if you look down too long you miss the sights and maybe get hit by a car.  It takes a lot of skill to just walk on the street!  I love being in Brazil!!

Love you guys!
Elder Eldon Ray Cummings

Sorry for sending you food porn.  I just wanted you to know how awesome the cinnamon rolls are!  These are the best things ever!!

So this is how my alarm clock fared after the 6-story fall.  Pretty amazing!  The stand/cover does attach and work, just it comes off so I took it off for effect.  This is one tough clock!

A photo of just me and S. chilling like the missionary gangsters we are!  Check out S.’s sick new “Dougie Fresh” haircut, as he likes to call it.  Cut of course by Yours Truly!

  1. He mentioned he got a hair cut, but not that your son was the barber! That roll looks amazing! Thanks again for taking care of them...and that clock. My son neglected to share that story with us...ouch!
